Nicaragua Fruity Peaberry

Nicaragua Fruity Peaberry

$17.95

From farm to final cup, coffee is a collaborative craft that brings people together from all over the world and we believe the relationships built along the way should be celebrated as much as the end-product. As a nod to this notion, we’ve developed our Fellowship Coffee program to highlight a rotation of coffees sourced from our longtime friends at Gold Mountain Coffee Growers. Fiercely committed to being leading purveyors of the highest quality coffee while prioritizing a positive social and environmental impact, this team, and the relationship we've built with them, is a true testament to the integrity and community of the coffee industry.

Formed when two beans within a coffee cherry fuse together, peaberries make up only about 2% of the harvest and require a special sieve to sort out. The result is a smaller, denser bean that reacts differently throughout the roasting process, commonly resulting in a final cup that has brighter acidity, more developed sweetness, and flavor complexity compared to their “normal” bean counterparts.

Characteristically smooth-bodied and uniquely fruity, this coffee has been roasted to bring forward plum body notes, a navel orange finish, and a lingering agave mouthfeel. We suggest pairing a fresh cup with a buttery croissant or a piece of chocolate cheesecake.

All coffees are roasted to order and shipped on Tuesday. Free shipping on orders $35 and up!
