Embark on a journey to Finca Medina in Antigua, Guatemala, where history and tradition converge amidst the breathtaking backdrop of three volcanoes. Once the capital of the Spanish Empire in Central America, Antigua now stands as a testament to colonial charm and the thriving coffee farms that dot its landscape. Among them, Finca Medina shines, with its rich heritage dating back to 1842 and a commitment to excellence fueled by innovative processing technology.
Located in the village of San Lorenzo El Cubo, Finca Medina encompasses two estates: the original Finca Medina and the acquired Anexo Portal, both meticulously managed to produce exceptional coffee. Their latest offering, an anaerobic natural, showcases the pinnacle of their craftsmanship. Cherries from both estates undergo a meticulous process of fermentation and drying over 28 days, resulting in a cup of coffee with sparkling acidity and tropical fruit flavors, setting new standards in Latin American coffee production.
This remarkable brew not only delights the senses but also heralds a new era of alternative processing methods gaining popularity in the region. We are proud to be part of this journey, celebrating tradition, innovation, and the boundless potential of every cup. Join us in savoring the extraordinary flavors and embracing the exciting possibilities that lie ahead in the world of coffee.
