Introducing COMSA, a community of small coffee producers nestled in the Marcala Region of La Paz, Honduras. Born in 2001, this group set out on a mission to enhance economic, social, and environmental conditions for the local farmers, with a sharp focus on reducing poverty and championing sustainable development.

With 1,573 dedicated members, COMSA is all about innovation, continuous learning, and a strong commitment to their community. Their journey is a testament to the power of unity and shared values.

Now, let's dive into their coffee story – this particular lot carries both Rainforest Alliance and Organic certifications. Harvested at peak maturation, the beans undergo a meticulous process. They're treated to a de-pulping session, followed by time in a fermentation pile. After that, it's a careful washing and drying routine on patios and mechanical dryers until the parchment reaches an optimal 12% moisture level.

So, if you're seeking a cup that not only brings you rich flavor but also supports a community striving for positive change, COMSA's got you covered. Here's to savoring great coffee and being part of something bigger.

All coffees are roasted to order and shipped on Tuesday. Free shipping on orders $40 and up!
